Default Soap and water through vents

I have a 1995 Accord that when I went through the car wash recently I had soap and water from the car wash find its way into the driver compartment. I got soap bubbles through the dash board vents and the carpet on the passenger side of the car was wet.

Another possable side effect of the wash is that my turn signals are not working now that the car is clean.

Where can I look for the leak and what can be done about the turn signals.

I would suspect the cowl drain is not letting water out, and may be almost or completely blocked (trash, grass, etc). Run a garden hose into the cowl and you should see water start to pour out from bottom. If not, the cowl drains are blocked. You'll have to remove the cowl covers to access the plenums and clear whatever's blocking the drains.

You could have a leaky windshield, but if you've never had windshield replaced that is unlikely.

good luck
