Default spark plug question

I justbought the Bosch platinum plugs 4. Is this better than the OEM NGK spark plugs? The Bosch doesn't require gapping so I find it better. Any has these in their Honda Accord. I have a 98 Honda Accord EX.

Take them out and go buy NGK. If you do a search on this forum about spark plugs you'll find more than enough info.

drummer is going to turn his Honda into a Ford one part at a time !!LOL

FWIWI seem to see more cold start flood problems with the 'needle point' platinium plugs

I had a '95 Integra GSR & it ran great with Bosch Pt+4 plugs.

But having said that, I agree that the majority of experience around here is that Hondas don't seem to like Bosch plugs.

I've personally seen bosch plugs kill the coil on honda's.... one of my friends replaced it three times and then he and another guy we knew were sitting there talking about it and they figured out that it was overheating and frying so they "relocated" it to outside the distributor and that worked.... as we were having this conversation I just kindly said "I'll bet you love bosch spark plugs don't you?" and he was like "yeah, why?" and sure enough that was his problem.... Stick with NGK

Any suggestions?

Personally unless you've got a fair amount of mods I'd stick with platinum, I'd go that route since I like to change my plugs every 30k miles or so, the iridium are supposed to have like 100k miles on them (just remove them every 30k miles and put them back in as mentioned in a previous post to keep them "freed up") but I'd go with platinum....
