Spark Plug Technical Info
I was using the NGK ZFR5F-11 but just tuned up and switched over to the Denso Platinum TT plugs. I have noticed a great difference in idle and gas mileage. compared with the NGK's when they were new

Has anyone use Pulstar plug? I saw it for 50 for 2 at Autozone. How well it handle in a long run? Does it affect piston since it suppose to produce a lots of spark? If not what you recommend, Bosch-platinum or NGK-laser-platinum they both have duel ground?

Ok so heres the deal. i have an 04 accord coupe v6. Every time that i get up on it in 3rd gear about 6k rms after vtec has kicked in the check engine light starts to flash then turns off. If i do it multiple times like when i go to the track it will flash then stay on.
When i check what the light is on for it says random misfire. Sometimes it would say misfire from cly 1'3'5. But from the random one it would always change.
I have changed the spark plugs, and gapped them all to the same gap size (.40) it has coils and not wires so i dont think the coils are bad. So i dont know what could be tripping the light?
Does anyone have the same or similar problem? Or has anyone heard of anything like that before? Any information would help. Thank you

I have oil in the holes (through the valve cover) the plugs go in. Could this 'cause the plugs to not fire? It's been like this for a while (apparently) with nary a miss 'til now. I'm afraid to pull the plugs to change them and let that oil go into the cylinder.
Thanks,
Dan
Thanks,

Yes, that can cause misfiring. Remove the wires, soak up most of the oil with a rag. What's left should be a pretty small amount that's harmless to drop into the cylinder.
OH yeah, replace the seals around those tubes.
