Spark plugs and not about type

i got a 2k coue with 80k on it, plugs and wires arent scheduled for another 25k, would it help any to do them now or really makes no difference?

It will probably help a little bit. Just take them out and check for deposits, clean them with a wire brush and check the gap (.44in / 1.1mm). If they don't look to be in very good shape, replace them, it's like, what, $6 for a box of 4 NGK V Power's?

EDIT: .042 - .044 inches or 1.1 mm

I wouldn't change them till 100k if I were you. OEM for 2000 Accords is double platinum (NGK PZFR5F-11) and they are good for 100k miles. I paid about $9 each formine at Advance Auto Parts (sparkplugs.com charges almost $12 each for them). I didn't change mine till I hit around 125k after I saw a decrease in gas mileage.

my foot stays to the floor so i always see a decrease lol but thanks for the info`
