FWIW, the Yokos that I had were 205/60-15 and I outhandled an AMG C32.

 

On a 5.5J rim? In all probability they would be even better on a 7J or even a 7.5J rim. 205 is really too wide for a 5.5J (even a 195 would be better on a 7J).

Your car may have outhandled the Merc, but keep in mind that you may have outhandled it's driver. From memory, Tiff Needell (and Jason Plato as well?) isn't all that impressed with the way AMG modded Mercs handle...
