Default speedometer and odometer not working

i own a 2000 honda accord v6 and had the tranny replaced bc 3rd gear was going bad and my speedometer was jumpy,a couple of weeks before tranny went out auto zone checked my cel light and pulled p0720 code. but then i replaced the transmission since it was cheaper than fixing it and it ran well for a while, now my speedometer will stop working along with the odometer got the code p0720 again replaced counter shaft and main speed sensors didn't fix problem don't know what else it could be. (automatic tranny)

Your odometer is directly related to your speedometer; no speedometer, the car can't gauge your mileage.

Your problem might be simply because of a bad Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). Recheck the code, and know this: my VSS doesn't work much at all, but my engine light to alert me of this hardly comes on too. So it might just be your VSS is out as well, and your car hasn't told you yet.

My model has the VSS on the transaxle (I think). Good luck!

P.S. I've been driving three years without getting much mileage ) Only about 15k in three years! (if you know what I mean). Oh, but I'm too honest for that!

wasn't the speed sensor the mechanic thinks it might be the computer not working.
