Default Squeaking window

When I bought the car there was quite a bit of passanger door damage. I am looking for a new one from local salvage yards but hatchbacks seem to be rare, or at least nice ones. It looks like there was one big dent and someone tried to pop it out, but you can never get it back to normal. Could the dent be causing the window to squeak? It happens when the door is about halfway down. I also took it apart and greased up the "scissors" but it didn't help. Is this a common issue? Also there is no visible damage to the window, the motor, or the scissor system. Lastly, the design of the power windows is kind of odd. The motor is located at the middle of the door.

Default RE: Squeaking window

Look carefully at the window tracks. If they are bent, replace them. If not, try cleaning them with a sponge and rubbing alcohol.
