Default Squeaky Suspension

Hi all,

Today I noticed a distinct squeaking sound coming from the front passenger side of my '94 Accord LX. I'm quite certain that this issue started after I had to slam the brakes at one point during my drive today. However, I did also take the car to the shop to have some inspection done, and this involved lifting up the car (which I've read might be cause for noise). In addition, one/both the front brakes are dragging, which is why I brought it to the shop in the first place.

Any idea if this is something I should be concerned about, or can I just fix it with some silicon grease?

Thanks in advance!!

I have a 95 and my suspension does the same. I tried finding the source of the noise but never did. It eventually stopped.

But it also could be the brakes if their dragging brakes can cause noise

I just recently put a new master cylinder and all new pads and calipers on my car. Both my calipers were seized up after I locked op the brakes one day to miss a deer. You can check your calipers to see if their bad. Use a C clamp to try to push the piston back in. They should go in fairly easily. Also if you take it apart check to see your pads didn't fall out of the slide rattle clips.

I'll be changing out the calipers and pads this weekend so we'll see how that goes. I'll report back findings when I have some to share.

Cheers!!
