Squeal from well
kk, so for the last week I have noticed a squeal comin from the driver side front wheel after it warms up for about 10-15mins of driving. it is only at a certain point in the tire rotation where you hear it
* wheel is straight and in motion = noise
* wheel is turned either direction in motion = noise
*every tire rotation there is a spot where it squeals
* hitting the brakes the noise is still present
I took the wheel off and the caliper to get a closer look. both pads have a crack right in the middle, and the rotor is rotted with rust.. i understand its time for a new 1. im curious as to replacing my rotors/brakes, since i wanna do them in pairs for even ware... would it fix the problem?
the only things i can think of atm is..
* cracked pads are making the squeak
* rotor is rusted which is hitting the pads at a certain point
* possibly the caliper is stuck making the brakes always applied? doesnt pull in any direction though and the pad isnt worn
