Bad alternator blew out my SRS control unit, per dealer inspection. Cananyone tell me the procedure to replaced the SRS control on a 99 Accord V6?

Sorry no one has helped yet, I cant either but I will suggest calling the dealer and asking if you change the unit with the battery disconnected, does it need to be initialized with a scanner to make it operational, and get a second opinion on this too, sorry.

 

i wouldnt go anywhere near SRS. Leave that stuff to the pros, if the airbag doesnt go off when its supposed to (or vice versa), your screwed. At least when you pay someone to do it if it doesnt go off you have someone to sue.
SRS isnt something to mess with. Goto the dealer.
