a common problem with a lot of cars epecially when it starts getting cold out is that the sensors start to malfunction when they get older

I also have a 2000 Accord V6 coupe and a couple of weeks ago, when I started my car the SRS light didn't go off. I took it to the dealership and it was the driver seatbelt switch- covered under warranty. You may want to have it checked.
