Default SRS Module issue - battery dead

i have a 2005 honda accord 4 dr we just bought 6 months ago. everything was fine with the vehicle except a bad abs sensor. During this time the car was sitting in the driveway and the battery went dead for days. we jumped the car and replaced the bad abs sensor. we noticed that the window master switch would only work for the driver side window but the other 3 windows would not operate. you would here the noise to attempt to work. we also noticed that the air bag light came on and other lights (TCS and service engine). my next door neighbor scanned the code as a 84-1. i brought the car for a code read on the air bag light and they determined that the driver side belt needed replacement. they replaced the belt but said the srs unit has a deployment code that would not clear and need to new module. they also said the 84-1 code did not come up. my question is why would a need a new srs module if the car was not in an accident. could it be that the battery went dead and lost memory. the fix was reported at $ 710 and it doesn't give me a gurantee the light would go off. very frustrating

It could be me but I don't see the 84 listed as an abs or SRS code

Since the car sat and battery went dead, be sure that the cables (all ends) are clean and tight.....while you have them off it wouldn't hurt to take the battery to a parts store and have it tested.

Do you know for a fact that the windows worked before it sat and everything went "dead"?

The code was 84-1 which was a memory neutralization but the dealer pulled a driver seat belt code. Replaced the seat belt under warranty. They could not clear a deployment code and wants the srs module replaced. The windows did work before the battery went dead. Replaced dead battery with new from honda. The same lights came back on. I'm wondering if I have an electrical issue that blew the window device and srs. Maybe from jumping the car to get started shorted these devices or I have an open wire that is not allowing these devices proper voltage
