Dead battery and FCW LCW ABS e-brake lights with dead battery
I apologize if this has already been discussed somewhere, I am new to the forum.
I bought a certified 2013 EX-l a little while back and today I had an issue where I was setting radio presets with the accessories on without the engine being on. Within 15-20 minutes, the battery died.
Is this normal for this gen battery to die so quickly? I haven't had this issue on previous cars, but I guess I should go get my battery checked out? Or just chalk it up to a normal thing with this gen 4 cyl exl?
Also, once I jumped the car and got it running in my driveway, I noticed that the TPMS light blinking, and the FCW, LCW, ABS, Powersteering, and brake lights on. I turned off the car and then started up and drove maybe 100 ft out of the driveway all the lights turned off. Went to the store and restarted it again and no issues. So is this also a normal thing that happens when the battery dies or is there something wrong with my car? Also, do I need to have it reset or something if the lights all went out after a little while driving the car?

On most newer cars (kinda like 2010 & newer) it's common for all kinds of flaky things to happen after the battery voltage is allowed to go too low. If nothing permanent remains after you get the battery sorted, then you're lucky.
