SRS warning light
The last few days my SRS warning light has been coming on in my car. It won't come on during every trip but during about 1/3. From my understanding the light counld be triggered by one of countless sensors in the system or the belt tensioners. Does anyone no how I could narrow down the list of possible culprits? I took a quick look in my factory service manual and the first step was to read the code with the scanner which I do not have. Will the trick of shorting the system and reading the blinks give me enough information? I wonder if I should just take it to the dealer and let them diagnose then replce the part myself, essentialy using them for their scanner.
if you get the code it doesn't always mean there will be a part to replace.
Getting the code will help you to do a correct and accurate diagnose.
Every code has a diagnostic procedure on the honda interactive website.
