Starter doesn't always work
Hello this is my first post. I have a similar problem to the one listed except i have no turnover. Last night about 10:30 the car had a hard time starting, this morning nothing i tried to jump it but the battery seems fine. When i turn the key to the on position all i hear is the fuel pump kick on and thats it no attempt to turn over or even that "dead battery click". Now i do have a low voltage code for the TPS even though i changed it out , but the car has been running despite the code.

Try the caveman test for the starter.
While someone holds the key at "START" position, hit the starter with a broom-handle or a stick. If that makes it crank, the starter is the problem. More specifically the contacts which you might be able to replace instead of the whole starter.

You never told us the year of your accord. You should put that information in your signature.
If it like my 95, just replace the copper contacts and the solenoid for ~$25 from sources on the web. When you see the contacts, you will understand why sanding will not help. The solenoid over time just wears through the copper to a point where it can not touch the contacts.

Yeah, the brushes could be worn down to the point there's not much contact. These are brushes/contact inside the starter, so you remove the starter from the car & dismantle it. Or you get a new (or rebuilt) starter.

Usefull matter.......do all of us a favor and please DO NOT start asking question about your car on someone else's thread ,, your issue is totally different than his issue ..it is best to start your own ..
This will confuse members who are trying to give the correct reply to the previous issue of no spark from idriveavw..,,,,,,,,,,,
Please do not do it again .........Thank you
