Default Starting and electrical problems

Hi, I have a 1997 Accord. My car turns over slowly, but starts. I started noticing this problem when I put a new battery in only a year ago. Also at this time, my rear defrost, interior overhead light, and the slowest setting on my windshield wipers stopped working (all at once). I checked all of the fuses and none of them were blown. I have seen some threads recommending checking the relays. How do I go about doing this? A mechanic told me that my starter is probably bad, but I have reason to believe it might be an issue with my battery. What do I do if my battery is putting out enough cranking amps?

Any advice/ troubleshooting help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
Seth

Check battery connections and the grounds from the neg battery terminal, then for the rest of it , you'll need an ETM to see the different circuit schematics.
Load test the battery just to be sure it's okay.
Usually a bad starter windings will crank slower when the engine/underhood is hot.
