Starting Issue - 2004 Accord V6
Need a little help diagnosing my Mother's 2004 V6 Accord.
Video links of starting issue.

Video 2: Starting attemt when Tapping on starter

Diagnoisis/Testing Info:
Battery is less than 1 year old.
Battery cold Voltage is good. ~12.6
Alternator: When car was last running, it produced voltage over 14V, appears good.
To try to elminate the battery, I put the battery on a charger, and attempts above were with connected charger.
Could this be the starter? I attempted tapping on starter, to see if there was a dead spot.
The car will not start at all now. Last night, it still had issues but was able to start. First try, it would turn a few over for a brief period before stopping. Then second try it would catch after only turning over for a short period. Today, it will not start at all.
Any suggestions?

Update - Starting
With additional troubleshooting: I continuined to hold the key in starting position. It turned over for a second, paused for a second, turned over for a second, pause for a second....
Video of attempted start with prolonged key enaged in start position:

I was eventually able to get it to start, after prolonged key engaged. Here is a video of it eventually starting:

Could this be:
* Ignition switch?
* Bad wiring connection?
* Would a bad starter behave this way?

It could be all 3 of those items.
You should eliminate the wiring and the signal from the ignition switch before replacing the starter.
Use a volt meter on the small wire to the starter. That wire should get around 12V when you turn the key to start the car.
If you have room, you can use a jumper cable from the + battery post to the where the big wire connects to the starter. Connect the jumper to the starter first, make sure you are only touching the post and not anything else, then connect the jumper to the + battery cable.
If the starter is bad, I've used Denso starters or had them rebuilt locally. You run the risk of poor quality from the starters you get from the parts stores. You could get a new one from Honda, but they are expensive, so I usually go with Denso aftermarket (who made the Honda starters).

Test Results
Starter wire test:
I did a voltage test to the small wire. I had user turn and hold the key in the starter/crank position. The wire got a constant 12.4V. So I assume that this would eliminate the ignition switch?
Jumper cable test:
I jumped with jumper cable from the positive of battery to the starter, positve pole. Attempted staring. There was no change.
So, does this only leave the starter as the cause?
