Static AM radio Stations
Installed a Pioneer AVH-7800DVD in my 05 Accord. Before with the factory headunit AM and FM stations came in good, some static with AM but not too bad. Once I installed the Pioneer headunit, FM stations came in good and clear but AM stations are all static. Anyone know what can fix the problem to get my AM stations back? Some people have told me to get an antenia booster or HD radio to get an even stronger AM signal. Any info will be great.

First off I'd make certain that you reconnected the factory antenna and that it is securely connected. Reception and quality has more to do with the antenna than the head unit.
