i have a 97 accord and the thing locked up and will not come undone no matter how hard i turn to try and release the pressure, or how hard i try to turn the key. i have tried just about everything, what can i do ?? what would be the cause of this ??? someone PLEASE help me

 

Put on the emergency brake. Push your key into the shift lock release near the gear selector. Put the car in neutral and see if you can get the wheel to unlock. Also put it back into park and make sure it locks into place then try the steering wheel.
