I have a automatic '92 Accord and replaced the stock shift ****, but when I tried to put the factory one back on, there was a spring that didn't fit back on. Even when it was compressed all the way, the holes didn't line up, so I couldn't screw the **** back on. I finally just left it off, but now it's really sticky going into and out of park. What should I do?
