After replacing the distributor, I was out test driving the car. I went to the store and everything was fine. On the way home, I noticed that the BRAKE indicator was lit, but the emergency brake wasn't on (I was driving). The funny thing about this issue is that when I pushed in the clutch to shift gears, the stupid indicator would go out. When I let the clutch out, it would come back on. WTH??

 

Look behind the clutch pedal to see if any wires are being moved when you push in the clutch.

 

Also check your brake pedal switch and replace if it needs to be replaced.
Check its wireing also.

 

also chk the brake fluid in the reservoir make sure that it is full
