Update:
Appreciate all the tips. I purchased a endocsope and a couple magnets snd a wire claw.
Still waiting on the magnets on a string and the claw, but I think I'm in good shape now.

A helper probably will help tremendously while trying to attach striker and bolt.
I purchased a endoscope and some magnets on a string and a claw, still waiting on the mags snd claw, but I think I'm in better shape now that I have some eyes.

Just for curiosity's sake, let us know if you find another bracket down there too. That would have been spot-welded to the B-pillar to trap that threaded plate in place while allowing it to move around a bit.

Fixed her
After I received the endoscope, I purchased two magnets on bendable sticks.
I worked the Metal plate ( thank god) into place

where the top drilled tap hole was identified then placed a circle shaped aluminum tent stake into that hole.
While holding it in place I mounted the bottom striker bolt through striker plate, removed tent stake and rotated plate and finished top hole.
Had to close the door and readjust the plate a few times to get door to shut flush.
Ill never do that again, thabk you for all of your suggestions and ideals fellas.
