I have a 1989 honda accord lxi. plugs havnt been changed in years. VERY hard to get out. even harder to get started in. trying not to cross thread. do i need to heat up the engine first. or rethread the spark plug holes.

I can tell you there is a "bit of an angle" to them...especially #1 and #4. If the plugs are out, what do the threads look like? Try spraying some carb cleaner on the threads, a bit of anti-seeze on the new ones, start by hand....if they are still in, warm it up slightly, try to remove, spray some oil if stll hard and try again.
