Stumble noise ataround 1800 RPM
Sorry guys if I had posted this again. I searched forum for this and did not find any good information. In my 97 accord I get this stumble and terrible sound around 1800 rpm during slow acceleration. After reading this forums I cleaned my EGR port twice but the sound still there. I reset the ECU everytime after the work done. I have also took the valve out(located by intake manifold) and cleaned it. Now I was reading the posts in this forums and somebody suggested to disconnect the vacuum line from EGR solenoid. Can I ask you guys where is this solenoid located?? I think I know that EGR valve is located towards passenger side by the intake manifold. If I am wrong please correct it. Is it possible somebody can show some trouble shooting before I start to change either EGR solenoid and/or valve. Just before the port cleaning I have changed spark plugs(NGK), sparkplug wires, distributor cap and rotor, adjusted the valves. Thanks for any info.

Did you clean the EGR manifold and the ports where EG enters intake manifold? Blocked ports in the intake manifold are reason for EGR stumble. Just cleaning EGR valve and primary passage won't do the job.
Solenoid valve would be connected to EGR by a vacuum line. You should have no vacuum at idle and vacuum available at 1800-2000 rpm w/ steady engine speed. In many accords the solenoid is located inside a plastic box called control box. I would suggest downloading the 94-97 Accord manual from http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/. This will provide pics and guidance on the EGR system.
good luck

Poor performance w/ lower fuel level suggests possible fuel inlet blockage or fuel filter blockage. Fuel filter is tough to replace on 94-97's. Suggest measuring fuel pressure to see if it is marginal. Fuel inlet screen mounts on fuel pump inlet and is located in the fuel tank, so don't do these unless you've confirmed low fuel pressure and fuel filter has been replaced.
