Can someone do a right up on how to install a Sony xplod 1200 watt amp, 2 xplod subs, on a schoche amp kit? Any help would be appreciated.

 

well **** i dont know which car you have but here goes. you need three wires for the amp. 12v power this is the thick one. so we will start with this.

you need to run this wire right to your battery and getting in the firewall can be a toughy. you need to find an opening that you can get through. on most accords there is a great place right behind the blower motor. the blower motor is located right under the glove box in the passenger side of the car. there are three 10mm nuts that hold it to the firewall and two phillips screws that hold these metal bands used for sealing the system up. if you are going to pull this bitch out send me a pm and ill go into detail on how to do it.



now you need a ground you can send the ground the same way your did the 12v which is right to the battery, or you can ground it to just about anything metallic that you want.

last but definately not least is the remote wire. this wire tells the amp when to turn on and is hooked up to your dash stereo. it is the same wire that tells your power antenna to go up (if you have this). the wire is usually blue or blue and white.

now take all three of these wires and send them back to the amp. the 12v goes to the power or 12v on the amp, the ground goes to the ground, and the remote is usually labeled remote on the amp also. then just take your speaker wire, run it from the amp to your subs and whala, instant bass. good luck
