Sunroof will not close! :(
Hi, I own a 2004 Honda Accord Coupe and yesterday I went out for a drive while it was nice and opened the sunroof up and it has been unable to close ever since. When I hit the button there is no noise being made, and I also tried using the manual override I believe ( the hex underneath the cap behind the sunroof location ) and that thing doesn't even budge. Any help?

The easiest item to check is a 20 amp fuse (#28) in the fuse box under the dash.
There is a description on how to close the moonroof manually in your owner's manual. You will need a tool that is with your jack to close it.

Hi Austin, on mine the sunroof would close to where the manual interior sliding sunroof door was. I quickly noticed the more I closed the manual interior door the farther the glass sunroof would close. I finally got it to shut all the way and vowed never to open it again.

On my '00 Accord Coupe EX, I could close the sliding interior shade only as far as the moon roof was closed. So if the moon roof was open all the way, the shade wouldn't move at all. If the moon roof was open half way, the shade would only slide that far forward. Hi Austin, on mine the sunroof would close to where the manual interior sliding sunroof door was. Sounds like something is off the track or there's something in the rails in your car. Maybe your shade got "ahead" of the moon roof instead of being "behind" it on the rails, so the shade is preventing the roof from closing..?
Austin: Just a WAG. Sure you're turning the manual crank in the right direction?

I don't know how the wiring can be redone. I'd recommend doing some electrical troubleshooting as your problem can be from the switch, the wiring, the relays, or possibly the moonroof motor. Rewiring is likely not an option by looking at the wiring diagram.

I have the shop manual purchased from automanualsource. It is locked, so it is impossible to post a page of the pdf. If you plan on doing any DIY work, the $22 is worth the invenstment and will pay for itself if you fix this yourself.
The headliner inside the car will need to be removed, so that will have a bunch of steps you need to follow.
