Default T-Shaped Spring Loaded Vac Hose Junction

Hi all,

I recently replaced the alternator in my 2007 Honda Accord 2.4L w 90k miles. It would not start after sitting for 2 months, and the alternator was siezed up. I also replaced the starter motor, which is why I had to remove vaccuum hoses which has caused this issue.

After replacing the alternator and getting it up and running I drove it around without the plastic engine cover on, and this vaccum (I believe) hose popped off. It is loaded into a spring, t-shaped, plastic junction that one of the intake vaccuum hoses is also connceted to. I am assuming that this breaking was a result of me driving the car without the plastic engine cover on (the hose is connected right beneath the plastic engine cover). Also, upon further inspection, the inttake was a bit loose and Im guessing maybe that caused an issue with pressure.

It will not go back down, and thus I believe it is broken and I would need a new plastic junction. Does anyone know what this part is, and how I could fix it? Posted a video and picture to explain. Thank you.

Circled in red.

Idle air assist valve.

(a) Either replace the part or (b) get rid of it by using an idle air assist valve delete kit.
