Default tachometer bouncing?

Hello, I have a 1996 Honda Accord, and lately the tachometer is bouncing when I am driving, it will bounce from 1 to 4 continuously, and then sometimes it will doit just a little to none. The car is having no issues while this is happening so I am sure it is just a loose connection or tach. is going bad, or a fuse. But, was wondering if anyone has had this happen or knows what it might be. I am getting ready to move accross country and would like to know that it isn't somthing serious just to be sure.

Thanks for any help,

Charles

I replied to your other post, I'll leave this one up for a short time but then one of them has to be deleted.

Ok, sorry about that, I didn't notice this one until after I left that other post, but, figured I would get more info on this one. Thanks for the help though, I will see if I can get a tach to test it out.
