Tempature gage raising since i filled ac

My car always stays in the half way mark and i charged my ac for the first time and was driving and the tempature gage went to 3/4 or higher and as soon as i turned ac off it dropped back down.

When you turn on the a/c with the engine running, do both fans on the radiator turn on?
