Default Throttle lag

First let me say thanks for these awesome forums. I catch my self reading about something daily that is very helpful.

I have a 93 accord ex that has 137,000 miles. I have only had the car for a month, but have recently noticed that it seems to have developed some throttle lag. It is in the low end of the RPM range. You press the gas pedal & seem to have to wait on the car, however once the RPM's are approx 2000 or greater everything seems responsive. Any ideas> BTW it has new plugs and wires, but I noticed that the coil wire was not replaced.

93 accord ex auto tranny.

Hmm.... do you know what kind of plugs (NGK, Denso, etc..)?
How about cap & rotor?
Is the throttle body dirty?
Air filter dirty?

If those suggestions don't work try cleaning out the carbon from the EGR ports.

New airfilter already had it.
Cleaned the throttle body today.

No changes. I will check the other stuff tomorrow.
