i put an engine and trans in my daughters 93 accord this weekend. i drove her car before the swap and no t/c lock up issues noted. i also drove the donor car with same results. after swap, torque converter locked up, and won't unlock. i have changed both the lock-up and shift solenoids, as well as both speed sensors. no change. anyone have any ideas???

 

it turned out to be the kick down WAY out of adjustment. i must have bent the lever on install. it was bent down in a circular way that made it look like it was supposed to be that way. the throttle would only travel about half way before the kick down bottomed out. straightened lever and all is good.
