Hey guys, I'm pretty happy today. This is my first visit to the forum because I just bought a brand new 2006 Honda Accord EX V6 sedan, with the works...6-speed manual tranny, leather, XM, etc. Anyhow, I want to tow this car with my truck from Virginia to Houston, TX. I tried to rent a trailer from U-Haul, but they told me the 2006 Accord cannot be towed by either the 4-wheel car carrier or the 2-wheel tow dolly. They said it's probably imcompatible due to the ground clearance. I think this is a load of crap personally, because I couldn't find the ground clearance actually published anywhere. Plus, there are things you can do to make the car fit, especially on a 4-wheel trailer. I can lie t U-Haul and tell them I'm towing another vehicle I guess, or I could have the car trasnported, which is quite expensive. Anyhow, does anyone have any other ideas why U-Haul would refuse to rent me a trailer to tow a 2006 Accord??? I appreciate your help! Thanks.
