Hello my name is Duwayne. I am having a problem with my 2000 Honda Oddessey transmission wont change gears. I got the transmission rebuilt twice and the vehicle still wont run right. I have noticed when i put the car in drive3, drive4 is flashing. It doesn't stop until you turn vehicle off. Once started and you move the drive4 light is flashing. When its time for transmission to change gears its acting like its actually down shifting the vehicle speed cuts down dramatically and then you have to accelerate slowly transmission still wont change any ideas please i am a frustrated mechanic in training.

 

On most Honda/Acura products, D4 light flashing means that a trans fault code is stored. Suggest to get an OBD2 scanner and see what codes are stored.
