Exclamation Transmission 2000 Honda Accord SE

I recently had a new trans put in my 2000 accord se. it shifts fine and drives perfect although when i'm stopped in drive at a red light or what not the car feels like it wants to jolt forward. Even though my foots on the brake the car feels like it wants to jump forward every couple seconds. Anyone have an idea of what this might be?! I already took it back out to the shop 3 times even had my idle turned up a little which sorta helped and its only when i'm stopped in drive. any advice is appreciated!

Welcome new member!

I'm no auto-tranny guru, but you probably need to clarify...

Is the idle RPM jumping to cause this?
If it's caused by a problem in the engine idle control, the idle RPM will jump (for whatever reason) & that causes the car to want to lurch forward.

Or is the idle RPM dropping in RESPONSE to the tranny engaging something?

Exclamation Trans

The RPM will fluctuate from 1 then drop a little then go back to 1 and it repeats this til i hit the gas. Also it doesnt happen all the time just after i've been driving a little bit.

Exclamation

Also you can faintly hear the tranny sorta whine like its engaging(when i'm idling)when the rpm goes up and the sound of the tranny goes away when the rpms fall back below one. Its real annoying to say the least
