hey guys, I just joined the forum.I drive a 2006 Honda Accord V6 with a 125k miles. My transmission is running a little funny and a mechanic had suggested that i do a transmission service and I went for a second opinion. The other mechanic told me not to do the transmission fluid because it could potentially be damaging. I then started doing some research and have found many different opinions. Many people say to do the transmission service and others say do not do it. I just want to whether or not I should do a transmission service. thanks in advance.

Simple drain and fills aren't going to hurt anything. It may not help either, but NEVER do a "power flush" on a Honda transmission. Use the new DW-1 fluid.
