Default transmission drain plug removal

hey, i was going to change my transmission fluid today. the drain plug is the one where you just stick in a socket wrench extension to losen it. the tip of the extension broke off almost flush with the plug, so now i have a completly round bolt with no way of getting the plug off. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of how to get it off. there is not enough room for vicegrips and about half a can of wd40 didnt help. any suggestions would be great. btw, its a 94 lx

Drill a hole in the broken 3/8" drive and tap thread in for a bolt and pull it out.

Another reason why you should buy a quality tool!
