Default transmission fluid change

Hello, I'm new to this forum having just purchased a 2008 Accord ex-l v-6. My question pertains to my son's 2000 Accord EX ,V6 with automatic trans. I was told there is'nt a filter to change. Just change out fluid and refill only with Honda atf. OK, is there a drain bolt in the pan or do you drop pan and replace gasket also. Car has 89,000 miles . He plans on keeping car for a long time. any help will be great....
Thanks

There's just a drain bolt in the pan, then re-fill through the dipstick tube with a good funnel. No filter replacement or pan drop needed, drain and re-fill 3 times for optimum results

the dipstick tube is way too small ..... there is a fill plug on the top of the tranny ..... which I found after using the coffee stirrer sized dipstick tube.
