Default Transmission fluid change question

when you remove the transmission pan to change the fluid do you have to change the gasket or can you reuse it? if not then where could I get it quickly or do i have to go to a dealership?

Why would you remove the pan for trans change/flush?

well after about an hour of searchin the internet i found another forum talking about this issue. http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/sh...?t=3047&page=2 they show pictures and tell you step by step how to change the fluid. LOL luckily i found this before i went in the morning to remove the whole tranny pan.

So I did the partial tranny fluid change with 3 qaurts. Really easy, easier than changin the oil cept that you need a 12" extension to remove the ATF filler cap hidden under the fuse box. Also loved the magnetic drain plug. I saw a little bit of metal shavings on the plug but not much. Anyways the car shifts perfect now.

Yeah, unlike most other auto-trans, Honda doesn't have a pan. Easy to change the ATF.
