Transmission (Hard downshifts)

Default 2013 Accord 2.4L LX- Transmission (Hard downshifts)
I purchased a new 2013 Accord 2.4L LX with an automatic transmission (CVT) 3 days ago and have been experiencing "hard downshifts" when decelerating to a stop. I have driven manual transmission vehicles for the past 5+ years, so I wanted to ask if this is normal to the automatic CVT transmission or is this something the dealer should check.

Something dealer should check. Very few reports on CVT autos so no experience here.
