My 2004 V6 Accord is in the transmission shop getting worked on. The mechanic said he found a used tranny from a salvage 06 with 850 miles on it. He inspected the tranny and said it looked exactly the same to him and he thought it would work fine. Now that it is installed, the car will go again but the "traction control system" code is showing up (and he admits it wasn't when I brought it in). He claims it has nothing to the with the tranny, but then he also tells me that the elec. plug was different and that he had to change the wiring harness to get it to work. So.... here is the question. Could this be a seperate issue or a result of him putting in a tranny from another model that was not meant for my car? Any ideas?
