transmission question

Default transmission question

i have a 1992 honda accord 5 spd 5th gear wentout in it from what ive read on the web 90-93 will all interchange but my chilton manual says 3 differnt models of tranny
90-91 accord all h2a5
92 accord all h2u4
93 accord wagon h2u4
93 dx & lx h2a5
93 ex & se h2u5
what is the difference in these tranny modles & will any of these fit in my 1992 accord ex

I would go to a site like car-part.com. That searches local junkyards for used parts.

Enter the information for your car (you listed two different years in your first post). The accords that come up from the search for a transmission have parts that can be changed.

sorry about that it is a 92 not a 91
