Default Transmission relays

Hi I just purchased my car. No check engine light is on but I believe one or more of my transmission relays is bad. When its going from first to second gear it stalls but after that it runs smooth. Many people have mentioned the relays but is there any way of knowing which relay so I'm not guessing which out of the 4 relay sensors it is?

When was the last time the trans fluid was changed and what type of fluid was used?

For the solenoids, shift C is listed for "flare" shifting in 1-2 upshift.

Have a volt meter? Start with something like this.

And I holding onto hope, just so you know, the auto trans in the gen is kind of known for going bad.....but I like to hope for the best.
