Hey fellas i got a second question for you all?my check engine lite comes on while driving,
now it only comes on after iv drivin 10 to 15miles on the high way,so i put a jumper wire on the diagnostic connector an it gave me a code 43? (93 Accord Lx) i have a haynes repair book but the codes in my book only go up to code 42?there is no code 43 in my book,if any1 knows what code 43 is i wuld be most greatful to you thanks!

 

Code 43 is most likely a problem with the oxygen sensor circuit or a problem in the Fuel Supply System. Check O2 sensor wiring and connector first. Refer to troubleshooting link. It may turn out you just need to replace the O2 sensor.

I just happen to have an old code book sitting in my car library.. Code 43 is Left front fuel supply system circut fault (except on D15Z1 engine).

 

thank you partner for your fast reply,i changed my O2 sensor out yesturday(monday) an after i changed it i took it for a test drive an thats when the check lite came on i didnt drive after that not until 2day when i went 2 work,funny thing is the check lite never came on going or coming home from work?do you think the PCM took care of it knowing it had a good sensor?i dont know but everytime id go 2 work within 10 to 15 miles the check lite wuld come on an today not 1nc.

i thank you kind sir! i wrote down the info in my book,but funny thing?today on my way to work and my way back home the check lite never came on?(and yesturday i changed my O2 sensor)and usually no i mean every time id drive to work an back home the check lite wuld always come on but today it never turned on???i guess ill just have to wait an see what will come of this?an thanks a bunch!your info was very usefull
