New in this forum looking for help and hopefully to help someone with any questions or issues in days to come I need to know if someone has any idea if the trunklid of a 2011 accord sedan will fit properly a 2008 model they appear to be the same or to have the dame dimensions

According to Wikipedia, both of the vehicles you speak of (2008 & 2011) are 8th generation, so as long as they are both sedans, then yes, it should fit
