Trunk won't open???

Default Trunk won't open???

went out this morning and the trunk wouldn't open (2004 accord) using the key fob.

wouldn't open either using the inside latch.

I can hear the latch moving inside. any suggestions?

Have someone pull the latch and you pull up on the trunk to try to get it to open. Once open try greasing all the moving points of the trunk, the latch, the hinges. I use white lithium grease (I don't know if Honda makes a special grease they recomend). You may also want to look at the lifting mechanisms of the trunk, I don't know if yours uses the lifting struts or not. If it does one of those could have broken. This is a start, let us know what happens.

you are still under warranty, take it to dealer,, i would not do anything to jepardize the warranty . if you play with it, and accidentely cause some damage , it will void the warranty..

also? do you have the trunk locked? its that little key hole right on the trunk release
