Default Trying to Frankenstien my Accord

Hello fellow Accord Enthusiast, my name is Aaron. I have a manual 96 Honda Accord 2.2L SOHC 16-valve four cylinder. I am currently in the process of getting it back into proper working condition. I also have a automatic 97 Honda accord, not sure about some of the other spec on it. I am very green when it comes to car repairs. I am very capable of fix things on my own, and actually prefer it. I also recently purchased the Haynes book to help me in this endeavor. I was wondering if it would be at all possible for me to basically take what parts I need from the 97 and use them in the 96. Some of the following issues that need to be taken car of are:
Replace:
muffler/ exhaust system
bumper
rearview mirrors
battery cable connectors

Fix:
Turn signals
motor on driver's window.

Any help on this subject would be a great asset to me. Please let me know.

All of those parts are interchangeable between 96 and 97 accords as long as they are both 4 cylinders.
