Default Turbo headers without turbo?

So I intend to put a turbo kit on my f22, but not for a while. However, I want to put headers and a full exhaust on it now. I don't want to have to replace the headers again when the time comes to do the turbo so I was thinking I'd buy turbo ready headers and just cut out a plate to cover the port for the turbo. Is there any reason I shouldn't or couldn't do this? This is my first import car, and first real project vehicle so input would be great, Thanks for reading.

No harm if you just block it off for now.

running 3inch exhaust will not work out well on a non turbo f22 not enough back pressure. Stick with a stock exhaust and header until time for the turbo kit.

what he said ^ It will work. But you will loose a decent amount of your off the line torque. You might pick up some on the top end but thats who knows.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I didn't think I 'd be losing power by doing this. I suppose I'll wait until I have enough money to do it all at once. I have about 1200 saved up so far, and I'll keep my upgrades posted as they are completed. I also intend to do an h-23 head swap in the next few months, I've already began piecing it together. Thanks again everyone
(G22cd5, I've read a lot of your replies to get a good idea of what I need for the swap, thanks for your input on this subject matter as well)

my turbo setup ran me about 2500. And that was barely enough IMO to make it reliable.
