Turn signal
I bought some new turn signal bulbs for the front of my car. I bought some led one they are 1157 and I got one the other has yet to come in. I put it in to see what it looks like and my indicator goes real fast on the side with the new bulb why is that.
It flashes fast because the LED draws far fewer watts than a bulb. Your flasher is designed to work with bulbs, so the LED looks like a burned-out bulb. Some LEDs can be equipped with a resistor to draw a comparable wattage like a bulb, so you might have to do that.
The flasher circuit is a R-C setup, the different resistance causes the capacitor to load/unload faster.
I think the answer is to put a 330 [??] ohm resistor on the ground side of the led bulb
