Default turns over, won't start

in my 93 MT Accord, I was having what seemed like fuel problems and it stalled halfway to town, after lots of tries it finally went, I added some gas and started again and returned home

now it just won't start. spark plugs sticks are dry. no CEL. changed fuel filter and put in new battery, just turns over. also did the main fuel relay under the dash a few months back (that's usually a summer problem)

any ideas? thanks.

Is your fuel pump working?

Default fuel pump

yes I could hear fuel pump cycling with key,
and fuel came out while doing filter and at the rail
I don't think it was the filter

I'm in Washington state with tons of rain, added a bottle of Heet to the tank and noticed the cap and rotor contacts were dark; filed them down.. it was sluggish at first but drives and starts like a new car again!

Excellent result, 'tis also my model of car and I'm in WA. I'll have to check my own contacts for condition.
As preventative you could spray the electrical contacts with WD-40, which repels moisture, and wipe it off with a cloth.
