Thanks, I will check with a locksmith and see if its cheap enough to change it. I am trying to figure out so many things in this car, I bought it used and the previous owner didnt take much care of it. And I am totally new to cars.
Thanks for you help.

i have 2 keys, 1 ignition only and 1 for everything else. while at school a friend with a 91 prelude says i bet i can unlock your car with my key. and he did, both of them. he can unlock a lot of Hondas with his 91 key. so i would say you have some old worn keys that just wont work anymore (the write way)or old worn locks or ignition tumbler.

ignition and/or trunk locks have more tumblers than door locks. he may be able to open doors but not start the car. my passenger door lock is keyed a little different from the driver's side due to normal wear and theft damage, interchanging used aluminum parts is not a good idea because of wear(housing & carriage?). I got the Honda 76-89 tumbler kit they work in my 93, but door/trunk tumblers are smaller so I used ignition/all on mine.
if you know how to remove the window then you should be able to remove the door lock. but it can be a beach to put back the retaining clip that holds the lock in place(all by feel & you don't remove the window)
I had a good used door that I scavenged parts from cause my lock was utterly destroyed.
